The Violent Sequence

I watched a documentary about the making of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, which gave me some insight into why I can't stand that album. It's mostly in the production, the execution, if you will. In the film Roger Waters and David Gilmour play Dark Side songs acoustically and suddenly they didn't sound completely horrible and shit anymore.

One of the songs on Dark Side is Us and Them, which originally was based on a 6-minute piano piece Richard Wright composed for the film Zabriskie Point, although director Michelangelo Antonioni decided not to use it.

I can't stand Us and Them, which is sad, because the original Violent Sequence is really quite good.
