Fiery Furnaces

Two songs from a new 'live' album called Remember. I don't have any of their albums other than this, I probably shouldn't have bought it but it sounded interesting and it turned out OK.

Demise - End Of An Era

awesome discog compilation. Demise basically sounded like a crust version of brutal truth. not to say they didn't grind as well, but you'll hear what i mean. the live ep included is totally hilarious.

Greg Sage - Soul's Tongue

greg sage was behind one of my all-time favorite bands, the wipers. this is off his 1985 solo record, straight ahead... good record because it sounds like the wipers, only it's mostly a lot quieter and acoustic.

if you're interested in the wipers, get the first three albums - flawless, under-rated, bleak punk rock classics. yes, the first three album rule. there was a terrific 3cd set re-issue of them that came out about six years ago with plenty of bonus tracks. highly recommended...
