John Frusciante

OK, these two songs are from John Frusciante's second solo album which he made for drug money. After his recovery he arranged for the album to stop being printed. It's far from musically accomplished, but it's the most chilling album I've ever heard knowing what his mental health was like at the time. It's not easy going but it's worth it.
